GETTING STARTED
I'm new to Pilates. Where should I start?
+
If you’re brand new to Reformer Pilates, we recommend the New Client Combo, which includes three 30-minute private sessions and one group class. Our Intro Single Class and 3 Class Pack are great options as well.
Do I need to be strong or flexible to start Pilates?
+
Not at all. You don’t need to get in shape before starting Pilates. Our instructors will meet you where you are and help you build strength, mobility, control, and confidence over time.
What should I wear or bring to class?
+
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move. Fitted clothing is helpful so your instructor can see your alignment and offer cues. Grip socks are required, and we recommend bringing water.

WHAT CLASS SHOULD I TAKE?
Which class is right for me?
+
Start with the class descriptions on our Schedule page and choose a level that matches your Pilates experience. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll be happy to help you find the best fit.
Are classes beginner-friendly?
+
Yes. Our Level 1 classes are designed for beginners and clients building their Pilates foundation. If you’re brand new to Reformer Pilates and would like more individual guidance before joining a class, we recommend starting with the New Client Combo.
What if I need modifications?
+
Our small class size allows instructors to offer individual cues and appropriate modifications. If you have an injury, health concern, or movement limitation that may require more individualized attention, please contact us before booking. We can help determine whether a group class or private session is the best place to start.

BOOKING + APP
How do I book a class?
+
View the Schedule to reserve a class online, or book through the Root to Rise Pilates app (Apple; Google Play). You can also use the app to purchase packages and manage your bookings.
Does Root to Rise Pilates have an app?
+
Yes. Download the Root to Rise Pilates app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to view the schedule, book classes, and manage your account.
Do I need to book in advance?
+
Yes. All classes and private sessions must be booked in advance. Classes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and memberships and packages do not guarantee space in a particular class.
What happens if a class is full?
+
Join the waitlist through the Root to Rise Pilates app or online. If a spot opens more than 24 hours before class, you’ll automatically be added and notified. If a spot becomes available within 24 hours, we’ll contact you to see if you’d still like to join.
If your plans change, please remove yourself from the waitlist so the next person has an opportunity to join.
